KSE Return Materials Policy (RMA)
When returning materials, whether this be for credit of new materials or repair items, in order to expedite the process and to keep costs low, please adhere to the following Return Policy:
For all Returns:
- CALL 1-(800)-573-4243 or email service@ksecorp.com BEFORE YOU RETURN ANY MATERIAL.
- Obtain a Return materials Authorization (RMA) number.
- PROPERLY PACKAGE the items you are returning to preclude shipping damage. We have specialized packaging materials for sensors and other sensitive items we can send you at no charge if you need them.
- All returns must be shipped prepaid and insured.
- CLEARLY MARK YOUR SHIPMENT WITH THE RMA NUMBER INCLUDING ON THE CARRIER LABEL.
- Send the tracking data for the return to service@ksecorp.com.
- Reference any associated purchase order number in your documentation.
- Return any unused items in their original packaging. Only new, unused items can be accepted for refunds/credit.
- Returned items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
- Make sure you mark the model and serial numbers of all returned items on your paperwork.
For Repair Items:
- Please send only ONE repair item/serial number per RMA. We will happily issue additional
- RMAs for additional items you want to send for repair. Multiple RMAs can be shipped in the same package if that is most convenient.
- For repair items, please provide a description of the defect in order to process your repair in the shortest possible time and at the least cost. (Examples: ‘Zero unstable’ or ‘Display erratic’) and please be as specific as possible.
- All repairs are evaluated free of charge with an estimate provided. In the event the Customer elects not to repair or replace the unit, a minimum charge of $150 per return will be assessed, plus return shipping charges.
- Instrument repairs in excess of 60% of the cost of a new replacement unit will be deemed beyond economical repair (BER).
