Replaceable Diaphragm Seals

NOSHOK offers standard, elevated and reduced pressure bolted replaceable diaphragm seals intended for corrosive or viscous pressure media, with a non-metallic lower housing model. A flow-through annular style anti-clogging model is also available for viscous applications.

Type 10/10H Standard and Elevated Pressure, Bolted, Replaceable Diaphragm Seals

Designed to isolate the pressure measuring instrument from elevated temperatures, or corrosive or viscous process media. Utilizes a replaceable diaphragm clamped between the flanged metal housings with an o-ring seal to create a leak-free union. Flushing port connection is an available option that allows the wetted areas of the seal to be cleaned, or the process vented without removing the unit from the line. Applications include water and wastewater, chemical and petrochemical, marine, agriculture, and pulp and paper.

Type 10L Reduced Pressure, Non-Metallic Lower, Bolted, Replaceable Diaphragm Seals

Intended for corrosive or viscous pressure media. Designed for applications where typical metallic lower housings cannot withstand process media. Utilizes a replaceable diaphragm clamped between the flanged housings with an o-ring seal to create a leak-free union. Consider instrument size, pressure range, media composition, ambient and operating temperature, and maximum working pressure when selecting. Applications include water and wastewater, oil and gas, and chemical and petrochemical.

Type 40 Flow-Through Annular Style, Replaceable Diaphragm Seals

Process liquid flowing through the pipe exerts pressure onto a flush-mounted flexible inner cylinder containing clean, captive liquid; completely isolating instrumentation from the process flow and preventing plugging. Eliminates clogging typically associated with diaphragm seals used in viscous fluid applications which can lead to inaccurate pressure readings, such as slurries and heavy sludges in water and wastewater, mining, and pulp and paper. Integrated valve allows instrumentation to be removed for calibration, repair or replacement without interrupting the process flow.
